Warriors fall on Fifa rankings

HARARE - Zimbabwe dropped two places on the latest Fifa rankings released by the world football governing body yesterday.

The Warriors, who have not kicked a ball for the past three months, fell number 90 to 92 the world rankings in the world and are now ranked 24th in Africa.

Algeria remained on pole position in Africa and have climbed four places on the world rankings to position 20. Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Ghana and Senegal complete the top five on the continent.

World champions Germany lead an unchanged top three that also has Argentina, Colombia, Netherlands and Belgium.
