ZPC Kariba slide continues

BULAWAYO - ZPC Kariba took another tumble in their title chase after falling 3-2 to their second Castle Premiership defeat of the season to a spirited How Mine yesterday.

The gold miners opened the lead through Timothy January before Elvis Meleka equalized for ZPC to send the teams to the half time break at one all.

However, second half goals from Kuda Musharu and Godfrey Nguwudzawo were enough to hand Luke Masomere his first win as How Mine coach.

Moses Makanje later gave ZPC a consolation goal late on.

Chikurupati subsequently moved to 12th place with 27 points whilst ZPC remained in third place with 38 points from 22 games.
