Shoko Festival early bird tickets out

HARARE - Shoko Festival, Zimbabwe’s biggest festival of urban culture, will this year feature electronic dance music, DJ parties, hip-hop, dancehall, comedy, spoken word, new media discussions and workshops.

The festival — produced by Magamba Network — is set to explode from September 25 to 28, 2014.

Shoko Festival Comedy night will feature Loyiso Gola, and Chester Missing from South Africa,  Zambezi News, Q the Boss and Seb Diesel from Zimbabwe.

The “Re-inspire” Friday concerts will feature Nneka from Germany and Zimbabwean artistes Netsayi, Ammara Brown, Tehn Diamond, Rax and Raydizz.

Saturday will have poetry featuring Buddy Wakefield, Ra Brown from US, Black Anakin, Aspya and many more local music acts.

“Re-Imagine” concerts will have the Layabouts, Jason Le Roux, Rodney P  from UK,  Djembe Monks from Zimbabwe and many more.

Shoko Festival early bird tickets are now on sale online at www.shokofestival.com and  www.webtickets.co.zw.

The “Sunday Peace in the Hood” Concert in Chitungwiza will be free of charge.

The early bird tickets are available from now until September 13, 2014.

There are limited numbers available, so the Shoko organisers recommend that festival goers buy tickets now before they run out.

After the end of sale of early bird tickets, the regular tickets will be available.
