Dynamos stay top

CHIREDZI - Dynamos turned on the style in the second half to rally from behind and overcome Triangle 2-1 to remain on top of the Castle Premiership log standing at Gibbo Stadium yesterday.

Dynamos defender Augustine Mbara cancelled a Praise Tonha  first half strike soon after the resumption while substitute Washngton Pakamisa ensured  the Harare giants remain on track of winning the fourth consecutive tittle.

Dynamos coach Callisto Pasuwa was happy with the win but said his players lacked match fitness.

“I am happy to collect maximum points, I am not happy with my player’s match fitness though, we lacked endurance during the last moment of the match  and we are working on that.”

Triangle coach Biggie Zuze blasted referee Thabani Bamala.

"We played very well but I am not happy with the match officiating,” Bamala said.

“I think Dynamos have many sympathizes, if they win the league they would not deserve it. TAhis is why  African football is not developing.

“I think coaching Dynamos is the easiest thing because referees are always on their side.”

Dynamos dominated the match in the first half but failed to convert their dominance into goals and were punished in the 31th minute after Tonha scored with a spectacular free kick.

Mbara equalised from the spot on 56 minutes before Pakamisa secured all three points four minutes later.
