Artistes collaborate on theatrical production

HARARE - Kuenda Productions will today launch The Twenty Fifteen Project, a collaborative theatrical production featuring artistes from Zimbabwe, Germany, Kenya, Uganda, France and
Switzerland.

The production will be launched at Zimbabwe German Society.

Wadzanai Chiuriri, communication and publicity officer of the Zimbabwe German Society said the artistes want to create an artistic network at par with artistes from different continents, backgrounds, styles and share visions of a forward-looking use and understanding of arts, developing new ideas of what art can be, through mutual learning.

“The central vision is to breakdown stereotypes and racial segregation, as we engage people from different countries into working together, on a basis that they meet and create at an equal level,” said Chiuriri.

The project is supported by Shauberg München, Elysée-Fonds, The French Embassy, Germany Embassy, Alliance Française and Pro Hevetia.
