Hwange dumped out of Chibuku on penalties

HWANGE - Hwange were left to rue missed chances here yesterday after a goalless draw led to a penalty shoot-out which they went on to lose 4-3 to Triangle and crash out of the Chibuku Super Cup.

Triangle goalkeeper Ronald Mudimu saved two penalties and converted another himself to emerge the hero for the Lowveld side.

Farai Vimisayi and Tonisani Sibelo missed in the shoot-out for Hwange while Aleck Marime, Andrew Tshuma and Gerald Ndlovu scored.

Triangle converted through Mudimu, Blessing Chimusamuche, Tichaona Chipunza and Tatenda Tsuro while Nelson Melson had his kick saved by Timothy Sibanda.
