Shumba releases fourth album

HARARE - Gospel singer Blessing Shumba this week released his fourth album titled The Psalmist (Volume one) NdiJesu.

The gospel artist has hogged the limelight with three previous albums; Ishe Wazvose, NdiMwari and Shongwe that were well-received by his fans.

The Psalmist (Volume one) NdiJesu follows on the heels of the  The Psalmist features 11 songs with one entitled Mwari Wangu that features my wife,” said Shumba.

The musician added that the new album release is a people’s story taken from the book of Psalms.

“Fans are in for a treat as this new offering is mainly dedicated to them and I am also happy that most people have accepted the Lord through my music and I will keep on preaching His word to people,” he added.

Shumba worked with two producers Olin Anderson and Charles Ayibeki to compile the new 11-track album.

He expressed his gratitude to gospel singers Tamuka Marodza, Ellen Anderson and Rumbi Gatawa as they were fully committed during the recording.
