Zambezi News launches Season Two in Byo

HARARE - Zambezi News, one of Zimbabwe’s leading comedy series, will launch Season Two at Rainbow Cinemas City 4 in Bulawayo on Sunday.

The main highlight of the launch, which will attract no entry charges, will be the screening of two episodes of Zambezi News Season Two.

Season Three featured John Vlismas, Kagiso Lediga and other leading comedians across the Limpopo.

Several top stand-up comedians like Clive Chigubu, Nomsa Diana and Marshal Erlando will do a set each during the event.

The satirical Zambezi News recently shot its third season in South Africa during a tour of Southern Africa.

The Zambezi News cast, which included Comrade Fatso, Michael K and Outspoken, began their tour with a show at the popular Awednesday Comedy Jam in Johannesburg where they shared the stage with some of South Africa’s top comics.

While in South Africa, the popular Zimbabwean comedians featured as Zimbabwean correspondents on Late Night News (LNN) hosted by top South African comedian Loyiso Gola on the Dstv channel, eNCA.

Zambezi News, created by Magamba Network’s Comrade Fatso and Outspoken, features comical news presenters who delve into everyday issues ranging from politics to sport.
