Chicken Inn sign Chibwiro

HARARE – Castle Premiership side Chicken Inn have announced the signing of striker Last Chibwiro from Division One side Black Mambas.

“Last Chibwiro has joined us on a two year contract from Black Mambas,” said the club on their official website on Friday.

“Chibwiro expressed his delight in joining the Gamecocks and said he was looking forward to scoring goals for the club.

“Chicken Inn chairman Lifa Ncube said Chibwiro would increase options upfront for the Gamecocks.”

The Gamecocks currently sit on position 9th on the log standings with 20 points from 15 games.

Chicken Inn coach Joey Antipas hopes the Chibwiro can provide the fire power that has been missing from his strikers this season.

The Innscor-owned club have only scored a paltry 16 goals in those 15 matches.

This weekend, the Gamecocks take on high-flying ZPC Kariba at Luveve Stadium on Saturday.
