For all the singles

HARARE - This week has been one roller coaster ride as I had several conversations that left me with more questions than answers.

Most of the things my eyes have seen and my ears have heard can however, not be repeated but I learnt a whole lot about matters of the heart than I have gone through in over three decades.

But I will share some of the things which I believe will be useful rollercoaster, especially to single women and men looking for love.

I learnt that the reason why some people fail to have meaningful relationships is because their souls are tied to their ex.

Soul ties occur when people promise to love each other till eternity. But this may not always be possible because things might get sour and one of the parties may decide to end the relationship.

Another thing that ties people’s souls together is engaging in sexual intercourse outside marriage. When this happens, the spirit world records this as a marriage.

So in essence this means that if one has been in relationships with say 30 women where he promised to marry them all or engaged in sexual relations, they are married to all these people.

The other scary thing is that such a person will not only be married to the 30 women but to each and every person he has ever slept with or promised to marry.

While we might take such matters lightly here on earth, the spirit world takes these covenants seriously.

Whether we might choose to believe this or not, I am earnestly convinced that everything that we see in this physical world has it is roots in the spirit world.

These covenants that people get into mostly in ignorance are probably the reason why relationships fail.

Your partner may actually still be married to their numerous ex and so forth.

However, all hope is not lost as one can always reverse the situation by divorcing their long lists of ex’s.

I’m not quite sure if these covenants are what the prophets say are spiritual husbands or wives but I feel it worth looking into.

The issue of spiritual spouses has often been cited as the reason why people fail to find spouses in the physical world. Maybe if people take a closer look at how they have lived their lives, they can solve some of the problems occurring in relationships like infidelity.

Up till now, I never understood why a man who stands in the presence of God and men promising to love only one woman, forsaking all others would turn around and break that vow.

The issue of “small houses” has become common so much that some people are even proud to be identified as so and so’s small house.

While I do not stand in judgement of these people because they obviously have their reasons, I do not think those kind of unions bring any form of fulfilment.

A very shallow analysis which helps no one except only the very weak or the very superficial. It is judgmental in that uniquely african christian way. While I'm not for pre-marital or extra-marital sex people just have to accept that due to different circumstances such as demographics, personal and social circumstances or even changing attitudes to marriage leading to many people opting out of it many people will just have to do without mates. That is just how it is. Failure to find a spouse is not a tragedy at all for either sexes. It is just another way to live. After all St Paul himself advocated celibacy and viewed marriage as the lesser and forced option.

The bible encourages fidelity between married because God threats marriage very seriously. however, because of our canal nature , most people engage into adultery or fornication before marriage against God 's plan. If people followed God's plan , we would not hear of non performing husbands, unloving husbands , high profile pretending wives, street kids, smell houses.
