John Legend to perform in Harare

HARARE - American singer John Legend will perform at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC) on November 19 in a concert that has been put together by Davies Events.

Both the Love in the Future singer and the organisers of the concert have confirmed the high profile gig expected to attract thousands of fans.
Legend, who was born John Roger Stephens, announced his maiden tour of Zimbabwe on  Facebook.

“Hey Zimbabwe! I am excited to announce the addition of a show on November 19 in Harare at the Rainbow Towers Hotel and Conference Centre,” he posted.

The Harare gig-which has been dubbed “The All of Me Tour”— is part of the 36-year-old American singer’s tour of southern Africa set to take place later this year.

Davies Events, who brought Canadian superstar Bryan Adams in January this year, also posted a poster of the concert on their website and Facebook page.

It was not immediately clear, however, how much the concert by the singer, who is popular for his romantic ballads, would cost.

The concert poster has no details about entry charge and when the sale of the tickets will begin but Legend’s announcement on his Facebook page revealed that “Presale tickets will be available this Sunday.”
