MicInity’s Mid-week Party returns
Reggae star Mike “MicInity” Madamombe will resume his legendary “Weddy Weddy” slot at Misty’s in Newlands on June 18 after a couple of weeks off the Harare entertainment scene.

MicInity’s publicist Stuts Anje told the Daily News that the popular reggae artiste was excited to be reunited with his mid-week party fans.

“He is hoping for a huge turnout despite the winter chill. He, however, reiterated that talks are still underway for a regular Wednesday slot at Misty’s,” said Anje.

“We have managed to secure two shows for the month of June, the first one being on June 18 and the other one on 25th.

“We are hoping this will be his permanent slot henceforth, only after the talks have been finalised.

“I promise to have some of the old and a whole lot of new things. My fans are in for a great treat. Most people cannot distinguish between my original songs and the covers.

“It’s time people hear more of my songs so the playlist will be pretty exciting,” said the Marondera-born artiste popular for his old school, lovers’ rock reggae and dancehall covers.
