ZBC must change programming

EDITOR — The way ZBC keeps repeating programmes is unfair.

The movie that I watched just last week was repeated for the third time and honestly I have had just about enough with the repetition.

Unlike everyone else, I cannot afford to pay my monthly subscription of DStv, therefore, I will be stuck with ZBC and their poor programming.

It is high time they change their programmes and incorporate new and exciting programmes because the ones they are showing are unbearable.

I appeal to Information minister, Jonathan Moyo, to please advise ZBC stuff and producers to improve their programming.

There are many films that are being produced everyday an I am sure you can get copyright and put them on our screens just like what Channel 2 is doing.

Most of the films that are being played on Channel 2 are directly from etv.

I know this because most of the time on their advert breaks they forget to remove etv therefore if comes out on tv.

If Channel 2 can go this far to please their viewers, why can’t ZBC TV do the same?

They are a lot of pirated movies being sold in the streets and now people are resorting to buying them other that relying on ZBC for movies.

Minister Moyo should advise those that want to open TV channels to do so. That way, we are guaranteed other things to watch other than relying on pirated movies.

I think ZBC needs to give us a good reason to pay for our TV licences because so far we are not getting real value for our money with this poor programming.
