Dynamos held, Hwange back on top

HARARE - Champions Dynamos have now gone for three games without winning after Shabanie Mine held them to a nil all draw at Maglas yesterday.

The Glamour Boys picked up their first point in three games, having lost to Chapungu and Buffaloes in their last two games before the Zvishavane trip.

Meanwhile, Hwange’s impressive start to the season continued yesterday after the coalminers beat Bantu Rovers courtesy of Eric Chipeta’s penalty and Evans Rusike’s strike.

With that, the men from the Colliery have now returned to the top of the Castle Premiership standings on 14 points.

Nation Dube’s men have won four matches, drawn twice and lost once.

They are joint top with Buffaloes, who have also amassed 14 points.

Buffaloes stunned FC Platinum 1-0 in Mutare yesterday.
