ZPC Kariba rout Triangle

CHIREDZI - Ten-man ZPC Kariba beat Triangle 1-5 at Gibbo Stadium at Gibbo Stadium yesterday to continue with their fine run.

ZPC are still to lose, six matches into their debut PSL season.

Triangle though, opened the scoring after Courage Denias headed home a Tinei Chitora cross.

The visitors equalised in the 28th minute through Limited Chikafa who headed home a Raphael Manuvire free-kick.

Two minutes later, Manuvire threaded a through pass into the path of Pride Tafirenyika who slotted home to silence the home fans.

On 62 minutes they increased the lead after Obey Mwerahari headed home a Manuvire corner kick.

Moments later, Manuvire came again to haunt the opposition, scoring a beauty as he beat a cluster of his markers before scoring from an acute angle.

Manuvire grabbed his hat-trick in added time when he benefitted from a Chikafa through pass to score.

ZPC finished with 10-man after Dexter Phiri was red carded in the second half.

Well done Saul Chaminuka and your gallant troops. What makes it all exciting is that your players were rated average and some as spent forces and some as below average by many people but see what they are doing in the field of play. Chaminuka has proved something. Look at the club he left recently that is ailing CAPS UNITED and you will see what i mean. Shine on ZPC. Shine on Saul Chaminuka. Hammer them hard. If you can only hammer Highlanders FC for me.
