Extra Kwazvose rock Castle Tankard show

HARARE - Music lovers in Glen Norah were in for a treat when sungura outfit Extra Kwazvose gave a polished performance during the Castle Tankard regional show on Saturday.

The Gurajena singers performed at the show where they gave revellers a feel of their forthcoming album set to be released in the near future.

The group, which is mainly comprised of former Alick Macheso’s Orchestra Mberikwazvo members, performed songs such as Gurajena, Mai VaBhoni and Ajulius among others, much to the delight of the fans.

Julius Chirara, Delta (Lagers) sales manager praised the group for its commitment in working with the giant beer company.

“I am also happy with the way Extra Kwazvose is conducting their business. This is our second time working with them and they never gave us problems.

“Despite the fact that they are preparing for their second album, the group managed to find time to entertain the audience on our behalf,” he said.

The group is in the process of recording their second project from Ndozviripo with Gramma Records.

The album titled Zvepasirino has eight tracks.
