Buffaloes, ZPC Kariba in dull draw

MUTARE - Buffaloes and ZPC Kariba played out a dull goalless draw in a Castle Premiership match here yesterday.

ZPC coach Saul Chaminuka, who quit Buffaloes mid-last season, blamed his side’s poor showing to fatigue after taking off for the nearly a 1 000-kilometre journey to Mutare late on Friday.

His opposite number, Luke Masomere, however, said he was happy with the point.

ZPC, who are in their first PSL season, opened with two wins and a draw, with one of the victories coming against defending champions Dynamos.

Buffaloes on the other hand started the season with a 5-1 drubbing away to Hwange before beating Chicken Inn at home and then managing a nil-all draw with CAPS United last week.
