Flame Lily face stern test

HARARE - Flame Lily face a stern test in search of a fourth consecutive World Navi Northern Region Soccer League (NRSL) division one win when they clash with wounded Commando at Commando tomorrow.

The prison services outfit is yet to taste defeat this campaign after three weeks of action and are the current log leaders.

Flame Lily, who were runners’ up last season, won 1-0 against former Premiership side Black Mambas, now known as ZRP FC before getting the better of Starbill 2-0 during the second week.

They beat Lake Harvest 1-0 last weekend.

Army side Commando will be hoping to get back to winning ways after last weekend’s defeat at the hands of Mushowani.

Former Premiership sides Gunners and ZRP FC will be hoping to maintain their fine start when the two clash in what promises to be another intriguing encounter at Morris Depot tomorrow.

With three games played so far, the league is already promising to be a closely-contested affair.

Three teams (Seven Flames, Mushowani and ZRP FC) have so far collected seven points, with newly promoted Bindura United, Royal Classic and former Premiership side Gunners are breathing down their neck all with six points.
