Mangoma is lost

EDITOR — I never thought that Elton Mangoma would one day dream of being Zimbabwe’s president as he is clueless and unworthy to talk about being president.

If Mangoma is honest, why is that his office failed to act on a major issue which affected MDC’s popularity, especially issues of political victims.

Political victims are very important in a party because they are people who sacrificed themselves and contributed immensely for the visibility and growth of the party.

After losing their relatives and property, Mangoma never mobilised any assistance to show concern on the part of leadership. That obviously demoralised a lot of activists in violent areas like for example Mashonaland Central.

It affected the party heavily as MDC was seen as an uncaring party.

Rules and regulations that guide the holding of elections are not merely crafted but are there to guard against abuse of the electoral process by greedy politicians who are good at rigging.

If Mangoma is an option, he is supposed to speak from Parliament but he lost because he failed to glue himself with the people who voted him in power for five years.

He failed to maintain a constituency therefore how is he able to run a country?

My advice to those who love Zimbabwe, please let’s stop suspending other members as it is affecting our oneness and cohesion.

Let’s preach love and tell those unsettled to settle under the leadership of Morgan Tsvangirai.

He is popular, so let us take advantage of his popularity.

I'm sure people in Mangoma's camp were shocked to hear him say he wants to be Zim's President. It's a good thing that people with brains like Biti are now working together wit Dr Tsvangirai. Bennet, Ncube, Makoni, Kay we need you too. Maybe Mangoma should consult with Mutambara and form their own party.

Just like Welshman Ncube, Mangoma's actions are suspicious because he knows very well that he does not command the support that Morgan has. Instead of focusing on contributing his efforts to unseat Mugabe, Mangoma is more worried about taking the helm, just like Welshman did before him. And what does Ncube has except for the brown envelopes that the CIO paid him? Mangoma should wait for the elective congress and prove his mettle there.

Mangoma, is right 100%, Mrgan has never won a constituency at all, who ever thinks Tsvangirai is still popular is day dreaming, Gone are the days when we would allow our country to be led by someone who is not educated like he is, he cant even spend 2 minutes on the "net" for Christ sake, he must go for good, thanks.

Charles! don't expose your ignorance in public. You are currently led by very- very educated people., how come the country is on its knees. Education is not wisdom. We need to shift from the mentality of masters, PHDs to the art of common sense and basics.
