More goals to come - Ndoro

HARARE - Zimbabwe international and Mpumalanga Black Aces forward Tendai Ndoro has promised more goals for his Absa Premiership side.

The former Chicken Inn forward was on target at the weekend in the Super Diski when Aces beat Ajax Cape Town 2-0 at Athlone Stadium. He scored both goals.

"I am happy with my scoring form. I hope to continue doing the same. My target is to provide more goals to my team," Ndoro told the Daily News from South Africa yesterday.

"I enjoyed myself on the pitch and at the end of the day that's what you want when you play football. As you know my duty as a striker is to score so my target is to add more goals.  So far I have scored six goals," he said.

The win over Ajax moved Aces into eighth place on the log with 34 points from 23 games. If the club maintains this current form they will seal a top-eight finish and play in the lucrative MTN Wafa-Wafa competition next season.

“I am now settled, it's like I am at home. I want to thank my teammates, as you know everything is built under teamwork and a little bit of my individuality," he said.

"My aim is to help my national team qualify for 2015 Afcon finals if selected by the coach," added Ndoro.

Zimbabwe is set to begin their qualifying campaign in the preliminary round later this year with the draw to be conducted on April 27 in Egypt.
