We need new leadership in MDC

EDITOR — Morgan Tsvangirai is not a sacred cow in the party and he is not bigger than MDC.

The party is an organisation which should continue to flourish even after the departure of any one given individual.

We are not worried about change of leadership because MDC is not Tsvangirai. Our aim is that, MDC needs to spruce-up its image ahead of 2018 which is fast approaching.

Certainly we can’t face the next polls under the presidency of this perennial failure who betrayed us over the years.

Democracy should rule the party not selfish people who want to suppress everyone in order to cover-up for their natural weaknesses.

Tsvangirai, are you making yourself a life-president for our party?

We need new leadership now!

Shame to your few remaining sympathisers who still boot-lick you blindly.

Everyone including our Western sponsors and diplomats are equally dissapointed by you.

I say to all dissenting voices in our party rise now and shine so that everyone in the party may see the light.

Our spear-heads Elton Mangoma and Tendai Biti are living heroes whom we salute for standing firm against repression.

Surely u a very unsuitable to comment on MDC issues. The party has a well crafted constitution ironically your Biti and Ncube had their input in the crafting of the said constitution unless you are telling me that the learned lawyer suffer from the lack of both craft competency and craft literacy. It is very clear that an elective congress due in 2016 why cannot they as purport to be democrats respect that. If need be then an earlier extraordinary congress is the panacea.

I agree with the writer here. The cult of personality is a relic of marxist leninist ideology. Morgan was advised not to participate in the elections and went ahead didn't he? Why ? Because he lacks the sophistication to recognise that you can only dive into a pond of crocodiles if you are a hippopotamus or a mad suicidal fool. Morgan is the architect of his party's destruction and the record can only be ignored by those in blissful oblivion and wanton self deception. In the end, Morgan is a simpleton and way out of his depth in this game. He should read Plato or Confucius or even ngano dza tsuro na gudo chaidzo to learn about strategy. Otherwise the on is totally hapless and dangling in the wind whilst being buoyed by anger of the hungry discontented and often brutish mob/masses. Not good at all.

I do agree with Bollo Billings Morgan Tsvangirai does not listen to reason, he was advised not to take part in the last election and proceeded blindly and was trounced, his argument was, he drank tea with the President and was in the know how of what was happening -Hezvo uko bwaa
