We stand by Morgan — MDC youths

EDITOR — Following dangerous, brazen, divisive and unconstitutional attempts by the deputy treasurer-general in the MDC, Elton Mangoma, to effect a palace coup by using money as bait, the MDC youth take this opportunity to tell Mangoma that:

“As youths, we are quietly observing the shenanigans being perpetrated by some members of the standing committee, the same people who are supposed to be custodians of constitutionalism on a day to day basis, but are the same people who appear to be misusing the same constitution.”

In the same manner we start wondering whose mandate they are executing?

Are they executing people’s mandate or their personal agendas?

We hear there is talk of the use of money to induce president Morgan Tsvangirai to step down.

Where is this money coming from? We start wondering.

As a party, we should be careful about the people who come in sheep’s clothing seeming like they want to help us when in actual fact they want to destroy our party.

We have been suspecting that certain persons in the leadership pilfer money and use it to bribe structures.

Now it appears they even have the audacity to try and bribe Tsvangirai.

As youths we despise such leadership.

Who are we to measure someone’s performance basing on false information from a bunch of failed politicians who are clueless on how to solve the economic challenges bedevilling our beloved Zimbabwe?

Why should people shortcut the congress. I will not hesitate to call such people cowards. If someone thinks they have better leadership qualities than Our MDC president Morgan Tsvangirai, why not wait for the constitutionally-stated period which is the 2016 Congress?

Boxers box in the ring not on the streets so get into the ring and whoever is beaten is beaten, then he or she should join the ranks and strengthen the victorious then we become a strong party.

Finally, we want to take this opportunity to restate and reaffirm our confidence in president Morgan Tsvangirai .

Its not about singing for one s supper but being very analtical and objective.Mangoma is setting the wrong precedence the same approach is going to be used against him. Chaunodyara ndicho chaunokohwa. As for Dube he is very right in politics a single mistake can cost someone for life. Come the congress the likes of Solomon Madzore shall be history watch this space.

Sure whose agenda is Mangoma really chasing, If all the districts say they want MT so who does not want him, Mangoma? Ah MDC is not Mangoma and Mangoma is not MDC. he should have gone to the structures and ask if they still think MT is the right candidate and not straight to newspapers and worse so to try to fight a war with MT which does not help the party. My worry is as a party MDC's National Executive should meet and jsut ask Mangoma to leave because he has sown the wrong seed in MDC.

Dube is championing the cause of opportunists like Nelson Chamisa who has always betrayed the cause of the youth movement for self inrichment.Kurova munhu akaremara asingakwanise kuzvi ita defend is not the behaviour expected of a real fighter. One thing with people like Dube is that they have never stated in their comments kuti Mangoma akatadza papi. MDC is a movement with a constitution and use provisions of that constitution to discipline him.zanu yairova vanhu ve MDC nekuti yaikundwa mafacts (i mean MDC yekare yaimirira zvido zvevanhu). In fact ukaona munhu akuita resort to violence anenge ave empty pakufunga.. To manyuka there is no meeting of district chairpersons only in the MDC constitution and the thinking of one district chairperson who has been taken to Adelaide Acres for coaching and payment into attacking Mangomas disability doesn"t represent the thinking of the whole district.
