MicInity arrested

HARARE - Rising reggae icon MicInity, real name Mike Madamombe, was arrested yesterday on assault charges.

Efforts to get a comment from his manager Robert Zhuwao were fruitless by the time of going to print.

But close sources privy to the incident told the Daily News that the Red Radicals front-man handed himself to the Harare Central Police Station yesterday morning over a Thursday assault on a lady only identified as Chelsea, who is believed to be his ex-girlfriend.

“Chances are high that he is going to spend the whole weekend behind bars,” said a source familiar with the case.

Harare Assistant Inspector Tariro Dube could not immediately comment on the arrest,  saying she was not in the office.

Innocent man? so why did he hand himself in and why was he locked in if he is innocent? Anyone who goes around abusing women and children is a fool, and does not need any form of pity going hs way!

This dude is very abusive, anodhonora nevakadzi vake vese. But what suprises me the most is that some of the ladies vaakamitisa still scream when they hear his name. Seven or so kids with different girls, shame.
