Tendai Ndoro to start for Aces

HARARE – Zimbabwe international striker Tendai Ndoro is scheduled to play his first match for Mpumalanga Black Aces against SuperSport United in the South African Premiership.Ndoro finally obtained his work permit and was registered with the PSL last month, and now the prolific Zimbabwean striker is likely to lead the Aces attack tonight.

Also in the running to make his debut tonight against SuperSport is Thulasizwe Mbuyane, who made a shock move to AmaZayoni from Orlando Pirates during the January transfer.

“Ndoro will likely start for us upfront, while Mbuyane might come from the bench later on,” Aces coach Clive Barker told Soccer Laduma.

Aces last played a league match back in December last year, but Barker doesn’t believe that will have any impact on tonight’s game.

“It’s unheard of in football that a club goes through seven weeks without playing a league game during a season. We have probably set a record by now. Look, we have been playing a couple of friendlies to keep the players fit, so the players are ready for tonight’s game.

“It’s never easy to play SuperSport especially at their home ground, so I’m expecting a tough game against them, but we’ll try our best to win it,” concluded Barker.
