Zoey to launch debut album

HARARE - Red Angels front lady Zoey Sifelani will this week launch her eagerly-awaited debut eight-track album, Totsemukira at Harare’s Private Lounge.

The raunchy and controversial pole dancer’s new album features talented chanter Gift Katulika aka Shiga Shiga who will also release his album on the same night although its launch will be at a later date to be announced soon.

The focus this week is however on Zoey’s new 8-track release.

The pole dancer has been in the news recently as she fought former pole dancer Beverly Sibanda aka Bev who wanted to recruit her to join Prophet Walter Magaya’s Prophetic Healing Deliverance ministry.

The release of Zoey’s music album this week will cement the raunchy dancer’s stay within the showbiz industry and ward off any efforts by Magaya’s church to lure the pole dancer to abandon her sexy dances and join the church.

Zoey’s producer said the album will be launched just before Valentine  to pave way for lovers’ outings earmarked for Friday.

“We had hoped to launch the album on Valentine’s Day, Friday but decided it was wise that we released it earlier.

“This will also mean her fans would be able to celebrate the special lovers’ day with songs from Zoey’s album.”

Zoey says she has enough experience as she has featured in other artistes’ recordings.

“I have been in the music industry since 2012 when I featured with other artistes but I played a low profile. I will double my artistic showcase — singing as well as dancing, a combination that I think works well.”

Zoey is also known for grooming top notch performers including Bev.
