Man demands sex from cousin's wife

HARARE - A Harare man allegedly sneaks into his cousin brother’s bedroom asking his wife to have sexual intercourse with him whenever his cousin is away.

Lloyd Makwara is said to be obsessed with his cousin’s wife, Anne Mugore.

Mugore yesterday told magistrate Tafadzwa Muvhami that Makwara always makes sexual advances at her whenever her husband is away.

She dragged Makwara before the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against him.

“Lloyd comes into my bedroom begging to have sex with me. At one time he phoned me while he was in the dining room were he sleeps, saying he is failing to sleep alone and wants to come and sleep with me,” said Mugore.

“He later came to my room around midnight asking what I was thinking about bedding him.

“The problem now is I do not know what his intentions are when he sees me. I want him to stay away from me because I do not know his next move when my husband is not around.”

Makwara refuted Mugore’s allegations saying she was trying to get rid of him since he was staying with them.

“This has never happened, she just wants me to be chased away from the house,” he argued.

“I only went into her bedroom once to collect my blankets. I always joke with her as my cousin’s wife but I was amazed when she told my relatives that I wanted to have sexual intercourse with her.”

Magistrate Muvhami warned Makwara that if he breaches Mugore’s peace, he will be arrested and should desist from doing such immoral things.

He ordered Makwara to observe peace towards Mugore and to stop abusing her physically, verbally and emotionally.
