Bring sanity to our hospitals

EDITOR — I need to register my concerns over the state of our hospitals.

Several government hospitals are severely understaffed and lack basic drugs such as painkillers.

We are approaching a disease-prone season where waterborne diseases will be on the rise.

Government must immediately intervene before a cholera outbreak similar to the dreadful 2008 era plague us.

We need sanity in our hospitals, Zimbabwe trains doctors and nurses how is it possible that we are understaffed?

Where do they all go after training?

Above all things health is crucial.

It is better to be poor but healthy instead of the opposite.

I hope something is done urgently before things get out of hand.

Prioritise our well being please.

D Muwoni,

Harare
