Pokello launches clothing line in Ghana

HARARE - “Queen of Swag” and former Big Brother Africa contestant Pokello Nare’s stake in the fashion and entrepreneurship industry continues to rise as she launched her clothing line in Accra, Ghana last Saturday.

The show which was held to celebrate Ghanaian local talented designers also comprised Zimbabwe’s own Pokello.

The line named “Queen of Swagger” (QoS) was launched at the Expression of Accra Fashion Show and saw Pokello’s expansion into clothing.

Pokello is locally known for her love for shoes but has expanded her horizons into the clothing world.
She runs a high end shoe shop called Addicted to Shoes where she sells all types of shoes for women especially high heels.

“I launched it here because Ghana provided the platform for me to launch. I am also the creative designer of the line but it is made in Ghana,” said Pokello.

She is currently in Ghana with her boyfriend Elikem “The Tailor” who also showcased his line at the same show.

Pokello has been making waves in the entertainment industry especially in Ghana ever since she came out of Big Brother Africa.

Pokello and Elikem have had extensive television, radio, newspaper and radio interviews on their designs as well as their relationship.

She had declared her love for the Ghanaian on television following her ouster from the house.

There has been no stopping for the couple whose romance surprised many as it was sudden.

Upon getting into the Big Brother house, Pokello said she wanted to show people the kind of person she really was and clear her name especially regarding the leaked sex tape with ex-boyfriend and rapper Stunner.
