Massive prizes in ANZ promotion

HARARE - Associated Newspapers of Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd (ANZ), publishers of the Daily News and the Daily News on Sunday, is holding a competition that will reward readers with a car, household goods and holiday packages.

The “Read and Win” competition begins today (Thursday, October 17) and will run over the next three-and-a-half months.

To enter the competition, readers must buy three consecutive copies of the Daily News plus a copy each of the Daily News on Sunday and the Weekend Post.

Readers must cut off and attach the five original mastheads of the copies to an entry form which will be published daily in the Daily News. These must be sent  to the Daily News offices. Alternatively, they can be handed to designated vendors in respective readers’ home areas.

Participants may enter as many times as they wish.

Pilate Machadu, the ANZ general manager for sales and marketing, said the purpose of the competition was to reward loyal readers.

“We want to reward our loyal readers through awarding them exciting prizes,” Machadu said.

The grand draw will be held on February 14 next year, where a grand prize of a brand new Fiat-500 vehicle will be given away. Other prizes include three vouchers for a two-night holiday in Victoria Falls and many others.

But, prior to the grand draw, there will be monthly draws where readers stand to win gardening hampers, stoves, solar geysers and microwave ovens. The monthly draws begin at the end of November.

My fellow country men be appreciative for once, why make unrealistic demands. Daily News have done their figures and one vehicle is what they can afford. Thank you
