Thumbs up to Masiyiwa

EDITOR — Coalition Against Corruption (CAC) the leading anti corruption organisation pressure group in Zimbabwe commends the founder of Econet Wireless Strive Masiyiwa for speaking out on the scourge of  corruption in Africa.

In a statement appearing on his official  Facebook page entitled “How I deal with corruption” Masiyiwa  said that the biggest way he got rid of people who demand bribes is by simply saying No.

He further emphasised that corruption on the continent  deprives the African child access to food shelter and a better education. What makes the statement awesome is that it comes from a great  man who defied all odds and set up one of the biggest companies that has transformed communication in the country and Zimbabwe.

His empire has also assisted towards the upliftment of thousands of children who have benefited from the Joshua Nkomo Foundation through scholarships as well as providing meaningful employment to citizens
Such utterances can actually be borrowed by other business-minded people in the country to reject bribe demands.
