Not happy with Misihairabwi

EDITOR -— In one of the daily newspapers MDC president Welshman Ncube was quoted saying the election of Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga was above board.

This is not true because the people of Matabeleland South did not choose or hire Misihairabwi-Mushonga to come and represent us in Parliament because we have representatives.

We also want to make it clear that we do not want this woman either as secretary-general or as a representative in the House.

Instead of twisting the truth Ncube should respect the people of Matabeleland South and their wishes.

She is an illegitimate legislator whom we believe does not have her constituency at heart but just got elected so that she could sit in Parliament.

The world should know that she was imposed on us without our consent.

Matabeleland South provincial chairperson Petros Mkwena is very correct and we shall stand by him because he is being victimised for telling the truth.

The harassment of Mkwena by people who believe they are the owners and leaders of the party is just pathetic and shameful.

We know the trouble causers in Gwanda and will soon expose both Misihairabwi-Mushonga and her handlers.

The people of Matabeleland should stand firm and make their position clear until this political opportunist called Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga confesses.

It was undemocratic for MDC leadership to impose Misihairabwi-Mushonga on the people of Matabeleland South and that will never be accepted by all of us.

She must pull out of Senate instead of wrestling and clinging on to something that is not hers.

Concerned.
