Dead wood is dead wood cause haina new ideas and they are the same pple who overseen the distruction of a once vibrant economy. Soon u'll talk abt sanctions but those are targeted at individuals. This country was under sanctions munguva yehondo and even fuel tanks were bombed but vanhu havana kumbotambura semutamburiro waitwa nenyika since 1998 when army was sent to defend a despot called Kabila. You also a praise singer and ass licker.

Taneta Isu - 10 September 2013

@Taneta the problem with you is you blame the system for your personal failures, which is bad.ndiyani wakakuudza kuti isu hatina upfumi hwedu?your dependency syndrome need to be exorcised.I have my A2 plot so am I praise somebody for the unthinkable?Anyway who do I praised?YOU lack objectivity. those were paper sanctions you can't equate them with those buttressed on ZIDERA. * I feel sorry for you because the effects of pragmatic post-modernism's media liberal-bias which have mentally enslaved you.Sanctions affected you and me.Acage is a cage whether golden or else and I am happy because Zimbabwe is out of the cage.ALUTA CONTINUA

chimuti - 10 September 2013

Chikwanda ndiwe usingatofunge, if experience is the best teacher then they should not be returned since most of them are jus a bunch of place holders, the old fellows failed to pull the load since 1990s

Ivhu Kuvhu - 10 September 2013

The good news for Zimbabweans is that dead wood burn fast than raw wood and these will not stand the demands of the challenges Zimbabwe will face. That being the case, social unrest will be the order of the day. Like it was before the GNU we shall see Mugabe's own dogs from the security services firing shots at his house and mutiny attempts. This time the opposition will need to do nothing except to watch Mugabe being devoured by his own dogs.

Ziziharinanyanga - 10 September 2013

Simbaneuta Mudarikwa deserves a ministerial post for sure. He is a hard worker. He has done a lot of good work in his Uzumba constituency where I come from. Neipapo Mudarikwa dzikisa gejo muUzumba tinewo

Gatsi Rusere - 10 September 2013

Chikwanda why are you asking about the age of Kerry what has that to do wuth Zimbabwe? Mugabe has retained dead wood whether you like it or not that is exactly what is in cabinet a bunch of junk old donkeys worthy to be ku mafuro uko. If he is against corru[tion as he says why has he retained the killer of social amneties and owenr of vast stolen land Chombo. Even kwake kwa Zvimba vakakumbirawo wani kuti tibvisirei Chombo?

maita - 10 September 2013

President Mugabe said he is worried about the rate of which his people are dying @ Heroes Acre recently and he goes ahead and install dead bodies as Ministers????I thought Mugabe was educated??????I think honestly Mugabe doesnt care about anyone except himself. All these ministers are worldclass perennial failures for 33years!

reuben - 10 September 2013

After 5 years this cabinet will blaming everything else possible for their failures including, Tsvangirai, Makoni, Chamisa, Biti, Dabengwa, Blair, Obama, sanctions, weather, climate, global warming, direction of the wind, the gorillas in the Congo, Zebras in Gonarezhou (including zhou dzacho). This is the same team that was not able to circumvent the sanctions therefore we will still have the same problems. I dont see the indepth thought that was put into the list. It looks to me like a list that was put into a closed box and the names drawn out like they do at the world cup draws.

Yes, the cabinet could have been more futuristic, should have included more women but people in the twilight of their careers could also be looking at their own legacy , how history will judge them and hence could give their best.what Zimbabwe needs now is a powerful shadow cabinet from the MDC and a vigorous accountable parliament and senate to keep these guys and hold them to account guy.Now we need both sides to be futuristic , make decisions based on national interest in everything. After elections we need to see the transitioning from party animals that fight and tear each other apart (verbally , debates and campaigns) to nation builders and national leaders because winners rule and make decisions for both winners and losers and for now and the future so all hands must be brought on deck to steer the ship of the state to plain sailing as best as we can.If the economy does well and creates jobs I don't care wether ZANU PF or MDC is in charge , what I know is our children will leave school with hope of jobs, people can work , feed their families and send their children to school. So whether the weather be good or whether the weather be bad, our priorities as a nation remain, education, health, power ,infrastructure , jobs, jobs & jobs
