Ministry should intervene

EDITOR — We register our disappointment and frustration on the chaos and confusion prevailing at a primary school in Marondera since May 2013 as a result of ministry of Education’s purported transfer of the substantive head who is refusing to vacate the school.

The ministry of Education must come out clean and shoulder the blame for their actions that have severely affected our students, teachers and the incoming and outgoing heads respectively.

The operations are chaotic and we do not know the actual position as the struggle of the control of the school is reigning supreme.

Our appeal to the ministry of Education is that they must intervene to resolve the impasse they created for the positive development of the school even if it means reversing or upholding the transfer.

It must be done professionally and legally for the smooth operation of the school.

What we are mainly interested in is the welfare of our children who are being deprived of their education owing to this confusion.

Parents deserve to know why a thorough audit is not instituted to substantiate the maladministration, misappropriation and embezzlement of funds as alleged.

We need answers and action please.

We cannot continue paying fees that will be misappropriated.
