Manyemba named new Chitungwiza mayor

HARARE - MDC Chitungwiza deputy spokesperson, Isaac Manyemba, has been named Chitungwiza mayor, the Daily News can reveal.

Alexio Musundire, MDC provincial chairperson, told the Daily News yesterday that Manyemba has been seconded to be the town’s mayor, taking over from Philemon Chipiyo.

He  will be deputised by ward (2) councillor, Phillip Mutoti.

Manyemba holds a degree in political science from the University of Zimbabwe.
