Dillish wins BBA $300k prize

HARARE - This year’s season of the Big Brother Africa reality TV show came to an end on Sunday with Namibia’s Dillish bagging the $300 000 prize, a surprise win.

Cleo was announced the first runner-up of the show.

But Zimbabwe did not walk away entirely empty handed as Elikem said he would share his “Most Romantic Gesture’”prize with Zimbabwean socialite and girlfriend Pokello.

There were different housemates vying for the most romantic gesture prize, but Elikem bagged the prize worth $10 000.

Elikem’s romantic gesture was when he served Pokello breakfast in bed.

The prize includes an all-expenses paid holiday — five nights at a hotel in Mombasa, Kenya and two return air tickets on Rwanda Air, plus spending money.

Upon hearing the news, Elikem shouted, “Pokello you are coming with me. I’m taking Pokello no doubt.” Elikem could not contain his excitement.

Sunday night saw the re-unifaction of housemates who had fallen in love during the show.

As Elikem came out of the house, Pokello gave him a fierce embrace.

The two could not have enough of each other as they kept on kissing and hugging.

“Pokello Nare is a beautiful woman; I keep saying first time I walked in the Ruby house, she was lying in a chair there and it was just like bam in the chair,” Elikem said.

Upon being told by IK that Pokello had in fact said she would leave her boyfriend Stunner, Elikem remarked, “I won?”

It all remains to be seen how far the love birds will go, and where their journey of love will take them.
