BancABC Cup semi-finals dates announced

HARARE – The BancABC Sup8r Cup semi-finals will now be played at the end of this month, Premier Soccer League (PSL) chief executive Kenny Ndebele has revealed.

Zimbabwe’s participation in the African Nation Championship has forced cancellation of all domestic football programmes for the time being.

The decision is meant to allow the Warriors to take the best possible squad to Zambia from the top-flight league in their bid for a third appearance at the Chan.

The PSL had arranged a double header of the BancABC semi-finals at Barbourfields Stadium last weekend but were forced to cancel the fixtures as the Warriors were engaged in a rescheduled Chan qualifier against Zambia.

The semi-finals will now be played on August 31 and September 1 followed by the resumption of league action.

Dynamos are set to lock horns with Shabanie Mine while FC Platinum will square off with Monomotapa.

The final will be played on September 24.
