Zuma advisor stupid, idiotic: Mugabe

HARARE - President Robert Mugabe has come out guns blazing threatening to pull out of Sadc which he says is being influenced by “some stupid and idiotic woman” Lindiwe Zulu.

Mugabe has told a gathering of his supporters at Zimbabwe Grounds during the launch of the Zanu PF election manifesto that Zulu was meddling in Zimbabwe’s affairs.

Zulu is South African President Jacob Zuma’s international relations advisor and is part of Sadc’s team of mediators to Zimbabwe’s political crisis.

Zulu recently suggested that Zimbabwe should postpone elections to facilitate the implementation of outstanding media and security reforms, a statement which attracted rebuke from the 89-year old Mugabe.

The Zimbabwean strongman said:  “She (Zulu) is an ordinary stupid and idiotic street woman.”

Mugabe said Zulu cannot dictate terms to Zimbabwe.

“We are in Sadc voluntarily, if Sadc decides to do stupid things we can pull out,” said Mugabe to thunderous applause from the poor crowd who are attending the star rally.

Mugabe, who lost elections in 2008 to Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai, begged supporters to overwhelmingly vote for the former ruling party to shut out intrusive persons like Zulu.

Its not a surprise. Mugabe divided the nation between war veterans and the rest of the population, he divided blacks and whites, he divided Shona against Ndebele, he pulled Zimbabwe from the Commonwealth, he pulled Zimbabwe from EU, now he wants to pull Zimbabwe from SADC and EU!

Mugabe is extremely disrespectful of everyone, but women especially. I have wondered many a time why him and lieutanants, think that its acceptable to say such vitriolic words towards other human beings and when someone in Zim says anything negative about him, they get arrested for insulting the president. What an egocentric and selfish megamaniac. It is sickening to read or listen to this man who should have long left the stage, continue to embarass the rest of Zimbabwe on the world stage as if we are a bunch of idiots being led by a pyschotic with grandiose delusions about how important he is to the world... what a shame.

Tino - 5 July 2013

The saddest thing about his comments, is that people actually cheered, when he said that. I bet the majority were too scared not to because the person standing next to you may have your ass in trouble if you did not cheer, What a bunch of losers these ZANU PF morons are.

Tino - 5 July 2013

the message reached the real target- JZ.

chibatamoto - 6 July 2013

Mugabe really wanted to get to Zuma himself calling him stupid and idiotic. The self proclaimed eternal leader of Zimbabwe doesn't want anyone standing on his way esp with the nonsense of reforms or free and fair elections. Mbeki also had problems with the old man that he ended calling Zimbabwe crsis a no crisis. Yhey are just but babies to the old man yet millions of Zimbabweans are suffering.

Muvevi - 6 July 2013

Yes Zulu and sadc are idiotic coz they are the ones that gave him a Presidency that he never deserved in 08.

Mugabe lost to Tsvangirai in 2008 - the fact is that MUgabe has been in charge as the one and only PRESIDENT. In fact Tsvangirai pledged allegiance to MUGABE. The problem is that the DAILY NEWS is staffed by immature journalists. IT'S SAD THAT THE DAILY NEWS IS THE WORST GUTTER NEWSPAPER. Muchida kana musingade va Mugabe ndivo varikutonga. This is the most foul-mouthed President to ever live on this planet. I'm sure he has a PhD in Hate Speech. Mr. President, hate speech alienates you from people and costs you personal dignity. Zimbabwe needs SADC, not the other way round. Handiti apa murikutotsvaga funding for elections from SADC yacho.
