Shabanie hold Chicken Inn

BULAWAYO - Chicken Inn and Shabanie Mine drew 1-1 during their Castle Premiership match at Luveve Stadium on Friday.


The home side took the lead in the 27th minute through regular scorer Tendai Ndoro, who took his season’s tally to 11 goals.

Shabanie equalised in the 38th minute through forward Tarisai Rukanda.

With the draw, Chicken Inn assumed top spot of the Castle Premiership log with 30 points from 16 games while Shabanie moved into 11th place on 18 points.

Second-placed Highlanders, who host CAPS United on Sunday, can regain top spot if they get a point or a win over Makepepeke.
