September Sun comes to Harare

HARARE - Jacaranda Muse, the genre –transcending Zimbabwean band whose music has won international acceptance, will launch their debut album The September Sun tomorrow at Alliance Francaise.

The launch, taking place towards the end of Jacaranda Muse’s ‘Coming Home’ tour across South Africa, Lesotho and Zimbabwe, is also a celebration of the group’s debut album’s release by Parisian record label Heavenly Sweetness.

Jacaranda Muse is one of Zimbabwe’s most unique bands, with a fresh sound that combines jazz, pop, European classical and Zimbabwean traditional music.

After receiving international recognition, particularly in France, the UK and the US, Jacaranda Muse is looking forward to launching their album in Zimbabwe and performing for their own people.

Their debut album has been well received internationally, especially in France, the UK and the US.

Jacaranda Muse comprises Tinashe Mukarati, Vimbai Mukarati, and Filbert Marova.
