Fun-filled weekend

HARARE - Crowd-puller Jah Prayzah is set to receive his $12 000 and musical instruments promised by businessmen Phillip Chiyangwa  and Tendai Savanhu respectively at the  launch of his fourth album Tsviriyo in March.

The presents are expected to be delivered Saturday in Mutare.

Jah Prayzah will also perform at Plaza de Castila in Harare on Friday night before winding up his weekend programme with a concert at Jongwe Corner in the capital on Sunday.

Dembo Brothers

Morgan and Tendai Dembo backed by the Barura Express will rock at Arda Sanyati on Friday night before heading for Sindi Night Club l at Nembudziya Growth Point in Gokwe. On Sunday the group will perform at Venda Mine in Gokwe.

Alick Macheso

Alick Macheso and his Orchestra Mberikwazvo begins his weekend programme Friday night at New Life Nite Club in Budiriro before taking his popular act in Kadoma at Grant Hotel on Saturday. Extra Basso will return to Harare on Sunday for a show at Extra Mile on Sunday.

Peter Moyo

Friday night Peter “Young Igwe” Moyo will take his new debut album Mushonga Mukuru to his home town Kwekwe at Tropicana Hotel before dating Hwenjes Village in Glen Norah B on Saturday. Young Igwe will end his weekend shows on Sunday at Top Three Hotel in Chegutu.

Jazz 105

On Friday night Jazz 105 is throwing a welcome party for Suluman Chimbetu, who has just returned from the United Kingdom. Satuday, Jabavu Drive will perform at the same venue before giving way for reggae outfit House of Stone who perform on Sunday.
