Flem B returns to Chi-town

HARARE – Reigning Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) video of the year winner Blessing ‘Flem B’ Manyangadze goes back to his roots in Chitungwiza on Friday as part of a Christ Embassy church crusade.

The on-fire gospel music star, who is riding on a string of international successes, is set to honour his hometown fresh from a dazzling performance in Lagos, Nigeria.

Flem B, who will perform at the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex, has promised a special performance to the town where he began his craft.

“Get ready to be ushered into another dimension. I am going to sing five new songs from my upcoming album,” said the gospel minister.

Flem B, who has two 17-track albums Ndichamutambira and Dunamis, is confident that the Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex show will further enhance his growing reputation as a star performer.

“Last weekend I was in Glen Norah for a crusade on Friday and the place was packed including the overflow.

“I urge everyone to attend as we are under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Those who will attend should be expectant because of the presence of the Holy Spirit and they will be assured to go back home better people.

“I came with a fresh anointing from the man of God Pastor Chris when I performed in Lagos and I am at another level,” said the Dunamis singer.

Pastor Ruth Musarurwa, the Christ Embassy Zimbabwe leader is confident that the 24-year-old Flem B’s show will uplift people.

“At this time, people need to listen to the Word of God for peace to prevail in a nation. We are holding countrywide crusades and are affording Zimbabweans a chance to witness Flem B’s Holy Ghost dance.

“Every Zimbabwean will be able to watch him for free through these crusades. It’s all about listening to the Word of God.

Flem B was praised by Pastor Chris after a sterling show during last month’s International Music Concert in the packed 25 000-seater Loveworld Convocation Arena in Lagos.

The young Zimbabwean shared the stage with internationally recognised gospel musicians such as Sinach, Joe Praize and Frank Edwards.
