Axe hovers on Pokello, Hakeem once again

HARARE - Life in the Big Brother Africa House has so far proved to be a case of perpetually ducking evictions for Zimbabwe’s housemates Pokello and Hakeem who face the chop again this week.Housemates from the rest of Africa appear determined to send Zimbabweans packing from the BBA House.

On Monday Pokello received the highest number of nominations from fellow housemates who conceded during diary sessions that they regarded as tough competitors. The situation got worse for Zimbabwe when Hakeem was put on the line by Head of House Melvin during the Save and Replace session. The Nigerian HOH was saving compatriot Selly who was in line to be booted out.

It is Hakeem’s fourth week of being nominated and facing eviction.

Melvin had difficulties choosing who to replace Selly with until Big Brother threatened to put his name on the eviction list but sadly for Zimbabwe he decided to sacrifice Hakeem.

For the second week running, Zimbabwe once again faces a dilemma on who to vote for and save between Pokello and Hakeem.

Hakeem’s chances of survival are looking very precarious as last week he only had one country vote, while Pokello attracted four votes.

Pokello was saved by Zimbabwe, Angola, Ghana and South Africa, while Hakeem was voted for by Zambia only most probably because of his rocky relationship with Zambian Cleo.

Ominously for Hakeem his chances of getting the Zambian vote are almost nil because Cleo is also up for eviction.

Other housemates facing the chop are Angelo, Nando, Bimp and Fatima.
