Bulls, Platinum draw

HARARE - FC Platinum and Motor Action played out a goalless draw Wednesday in a Castle Premiership match that divided opinion from both sets of coaches at Motor Action Sports Club.

Both teams where desperate for a victory following a string of unconvincing results but there was no joy for either side at the end of regulation time.

For Platinum, the result stretched their winless streak to six games but most significantly it was a blown opportunity to close down on third placed Dynamos, who suffered a 3-2 defeat to Buffaloes elsewhere.

The point could only help the fifth-placed Zvishavane miners take their points tally to 23 points, six points adrift of log leaders Highlanders who also faltered yesterday in a Bulawayo derby, going down 1-0 to Chicken Inn.

As for the Mighty Bulls it was their fourth match without a win.  The point did little to help their cause. They remain in the relegation mire, occupying the last relegation slot with just 13 points.
