ZPC Kariba maintain lead

HARARE - ZPC KARIBA maintained pole position in the Zifa Northern Region Soccer League with a 1-0 win over Forrester on Saturday.

The log leaders collected maximum points through a Patrick Makuvaza first half strike. The win means the Kariba-based stay one point gap ahead of second-placed DStv Rangers, who beat Banket 3-1.

Mushowani Stars moved to third after beating former log leaders Commando Bullets 2-0. Mushowani are now tied on 21 points with DStv, but the latter boast of a superior goal difference.

DC Academy maintained their unbeaten run despite held to a one-all draw by Flame Lily. DC Academy and DStv are the only teams yet to taste defeat in the current campaign.
