ZPC Kariba face Forrester

HARARE - ZPC Kariba will be aiming to consolidate their position at the top of Zifa Northern Region division one league table when they take on struggling Forrester on Sunday.

The Kariba-based side are tied on 19 points with Commando Bullets but they have a superior goal difference.

ZPC moved to the top of the log last weekend after beating JMC Academy 4-0 to take advantage of Commando Bullets’ slump.

The Harare-based soldiers embark on yet another tricky assignment when they host Mushowani Stars Saturday.

Seasoned campaigners DStv Rangers will be aiming to keep the pressure on the log leaders when they clash with troubled Banket tomorrow.

After 11 matches, competition remains stiff in the league and it is promising to be a closely contested affair as all the top eight teams are in the reckoning for promotion into the top fight.

Saturday:  Jumbo v Power Master (Jumbo), JMC v Twalumba (Shamva), Lake Harvest v Chegutu (Nyamhunga), Commando v Mushowani (Commando), ZRP Morris v Starbill (Morris Depot), Dstv v Banket (Old Hararians).

Sunday:
Blue Rangers v Gunners (GMB Aspindale), DC Academy v Flame Lilly (Hellenics), Forrester v ZPC Kariba (Forrester).
