Commando Bullets face Starbill test

HARARE - Pacesetters n the Zifa Northern Region division one league, Commando Bullets, are confident they will continue with their winning ways when they take on Starbill at Gwanzura Stadium tomorrow.

The army side top the log standing with 18 points from nine games while Starbill are seven points behind Commando.

Commando Bullets coach Wilson Kabango said his mission is to pick three points in the match but conceded that it will not be an easy assignment.

“I think preparations have been going on well during the week,” Kabango told the Daily News. “The guys have been doing well for the past nine games and we are not under pressure. However, the league is still open and everyone has a chance of taking the league.

“We are taking each game as it comes and we are looking forward to an exciting game and we are going to employ our usual attacking football and I am sure we will win the game.”

Kabango is wary of an upset at the hands of the struggling opponents.

“We are not taking Starbill lightly because middle-placed teams are very difficult to play against. They are fighting for survival which makes this match a real challenge for us.”
