Murambadoro eyes SuperDiski return

HARARE - Zimbabwean goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro remains on the sidelines as his struggle to get a new club continues, but the 30-year-old shot stopper wants to further his career in the PSL.

Murambadoro last played for Wits in the 2011/12 season. He did not find a club for the current campaign after he was deemed surplus to requirements at the Braamfontein-based outfit.

Murambadoro’s agent Benjee Nkhato told Soccer-Laduma that the player has returned home after spending a few days of the new year in South Africa.

“Energy hasn’t found a club just yet. He has gone back to Zimbabwe again.

“He left last Sunday. He has been waiting for calls from potential employers but no club has called him so far,” said Nkhato.

Murambadoro’s situation is worsened by the fact that he is a foreigner.
