Best/worst minister in 2012

HARARE - With 2012 coming to an end, it is that time again when the Daily News rates the performance of ministers in the unity government without favour or political bias.

This year’s ratings are different as your favourite paper is allowing readers to take part in ranking the ministers.

Results will be published at the end of the year.

With the coalition government lifespan set to end next year it is imperative that as a nation we take stock of how our ministers fared not only in 2012 but since the inception of the unity government in 2009.

Last year, Information and Communication Technology (Development) minister, Nelson Chamisa was voted Zimbabwe’s best performing minister after he was adjudged to have performed the best during the year 2011.

While, Transport, Communications and Infrastructural Development minister, Nicholas Goche emerged as the worst performing minister in the inclusive government in the same period.
