Top table clash in Southern Region

HARARE - Second-placed How Mine will host log leaders Bantu Rovers tomorrow in what is arguably the pick of this weekend’s Southern Region Division One fixtures.

A single point separates the two sides with Bantu sitting on 53 points while How Mine are on 52.

Both teams will be out to bounce back from the defeats they suffered last weekend and boost their chances of winning promotion into the top flight.

Third-placed ZPC Hwange will be hoping the top two cancel each other out so they can assume top spot if they can overcome Power Cosmos on the same day.

ZPC are on 51 points but have played a game more than their rivals.

Police outfit Black Boots have emerged as the dark horses for the championship and stand a chance to pick up some points without kicking a ball if Mpumalanga does not pay their outstanding dues before the weekend.

The match between Zimbabwe Saints and Hwange Juniors also hangs in the balance while the tie between Makhandeni and Sizani has been cancelled because Sizani has gone defunct.

FIXTURES
