Bev forms second group

HARARE - Pole dancer Beverly Sibanda has no time mourning over the split of her dancing group.

The sizzling erotic dancer has embarked on a journey to pick up the pieces by putting final touches to her new group to be known as the Sexy Angels B Team. Bev remains with the original Sexy Angels group.

Her decision comes against a “massive” response to auditions which culminated 30 aspiring dancers swarming her residence in search of new roles.

Recently three out of five Sexy Angels members — Hither Samanyika, Chandelle Chidyagwai and Mercy Makuvire — left the group to form Twinkle Light Queens, citing lack of respect from Bev.

Speaking to the Daily News, Sexy Angels manager Harpers Mapimhidze, said they are planning to have another secondary group under the name Sexy Angels B-team.

“Last week we took half of the dancers who had come for auditions to Victoria Falls where we had two shows and they are good.

“We cannot accommodate them all in one group but if we formed another group Bev will move from one group to the other.
“This is not going to be a new thing in the industry as Iyasa of Bulawayo has two groups,” said Mapimhidze.

Bev whose popularity was boosted by her recent arrest by the police over indecent exposure following semi-nude pictures of her and Zoey Sifelani of the Red Angels published in the local newspaper — is now the talk of town and promoters are reportedly fighting over her.

Ex-Macheso dancer Peter Kagomera is the only male dancer in the group and like Bev, he will not be tied to one Sexy Angels group but he will work with both groups. - Vasco Chaya
